We had a good week working in the trees, working on the Christmas tree barn, planting onions and cutting turnip greens and collards. We hadn’t planned on going to the Peachtree City market on Saturday, but after .9 inches of rain on Wednesday, we’ve got a big supply of greens, so off we go.

Steph is doing a great job making crafts to sell this year, and Tammy is cooking up some treats that we’ll offer too. We’ll have our family Thanksgiving meal on Saturday night, so we can be free to sell trees Thanksgiving Day. As we come to this part of the season, we realize that despite the struggles with drought and deer and all the things that confound us on the farm, we really do have a lot to be very thankful for.
