Special thanks to those who came and helped us out at the farmer’s market in Peachtree City today. We really enjoy seeing all the familiar faces as well as meeting new people. We have fresh-from-the-ground red potatoes, sweet onions and kale. Soon, there will be many more veggies available as well as some fruit!
Here at the farm, we are busy cleaning up to get ready for the Triple Header coming up next weekend, June 11th. The 2nd Inman Antique Truck Show, Griffin Car Club’s 39th annual car show and International Harvesters Collectors Club’s swap meet will take place here on Minter’s Farm. Things will get started around 8AM. There is no charge for admission, and there will be food concessions here as well. Please come by and bring your old cars and trucks. There are a few awards for the car show as well as some from the truck show. We’ll give out (for the Inman Antique Truck Show only) awards for Best in Show, Most Original Truck, Best (running) Rusty Truck and Longest Distance Traveled.
